ANDERSON is ready for Carling Cup final

Anderson has not played since injuring his ankle during Derby County game in the semi final of the Carling Cup, but could take some part against Tottenham on Sunday.

Injury news before Inter Milan game

Jose Mourinho v Alex FergusonManchester United are having difficulty in choosing the defending line against Inter today following injury crisis of many players after last week premier league games.

Vidic is suspended after being sent off in the final of the Club World Cup back in December, while Gary Neville, Wes Brown and Rafael da Silva are still injured.

Sir Alex Ferguson also has concerns over John O’Shea (heel) and Jonny Evans (ankle), so Rio Ferdinand and Patrice Evra are the only fully fit, experienced defenders in the squad.

Evans did not train on Monday evening, and O’Shea took part in a light session, with the Republic of Ireland international the likelier of the two to be fit. Read the full story

Manchester 3 x 0 Fulham, Thank you Scholes

paul_scholes_4 Manchester United strengthened their lead in the English Premier League after recording another victory against Fulham yesterday at Old Trafford.

The meeting was postponed because Man United game in the Uefa Super Cup.

Paul Scholes opened the score with a goal 12 minutes into the first half after the ball came to Scholes from Carrick’s corner. Paul unleashed a strike on target. Schwarzer could do nothing but help the ball over the line for what was a soft opener.

And after 29 minutes, Dimitar Berbatov took the advantage of a goalkeeper and a defender to score the second goal for United after an accurate pass from John O’shea. Read the full story

Lewis Holtby another young name to join Man United

Lewis HoltbyReports suggest that Manchester United are chasing Alemannia Aachen winger Lewis Holtby with an interest from our rival, Arsenal.

Sir Alex Ferguson sent scouts in the stands on the weekend to see the 18 year-old winger in action against German Second Division rivals Nurnberg.

Holtby was capped by Heiko Herrlich to play for the under 18 German national team of Germany. He also was capped to play for the german U-19 team in September. He scored his first international goal on 11 october against Lithuania at 5:0 victory. Read the full story
