That's what sets apart champions from the boys. Not everyone is the same. players like rooney and Ronaldo think differently because they want to be the best in the world. They follow certain principles. I feel all players who want to be the best player in the world think similarly. the rest do not think like that. Yes, if everyone was thinking like that, there would have been more competition. Why everyone is not thinking like that because they are not being groomed properly by their clubs. Something which Manchester United strictly follow. There's also too much distraction in the modern era. Like Sir Alex Ferguson had said recently that football has turned into a circus. Players are too much focused on the number of sponsorship deals they have, their looks, who their girl friends are. All this wasnt there many years ago. So yes, to an extent most players lack these values in the modern game. Not really. That’s what sets apart champions from the boys.
