A Manchester band have produced a new tribute single to Sir Alex Ferguson to mark his 25th anniversary at the club and you can now listen to it on Truly Reds and read the lyrics. United fan Fabrian Goroncy is the lead vocalist on a single that was produced and written by Will Robinson. Ferguson will reach a quarter of a century at Old Trafford in November and to mark that unique feat, the ‘World Red Army’ have produced a new song, entitled ‘Red is The Man’. “Alex deserves an anthem after what he has done and won for the club since his arrival in 1986 – and Fabrian was the perfect choice to tell the story with his distinctive voice” said Robinson.
The tune’s melody has come from the popular folk hits ‘Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond’ and ‘Red Is The Rose’. Turn on the volume and see what you think – thanks to YouTube.
