Celtic fan here. I have to agree with your comments, Wanyama is truly an amazing player with the potential to be one of the worlds best midfielders. He has everything – is a great athlete, exceptionally strong, great tackler and passer, strong in the air and has a knack of scoring goals. He also reads the game exceptionally well and constantly break up the oppositions play. He has also scored a few screamers from outside the box as well. He can also pick the ball up in midfield and go past players. He is also a very competent centre back if hes needed to fill in there. He seems to be getting better with every game so is progressing all the time. For me he is the complete box to box midfielder and a total all rounder. Having been a season ticket holder for 24 years I have to say that along with Henrik Larsson at his peak, Wanyama has been the player I have been most excited about in a Celtic jersey Simply because I know he will go on to be a truly world class player. He isnt the finished article yet as at 21 he is still learning but I think Sir Alex would be the man to bring him on because his record at bringing on younger players is the best in the game.

I also have a liking for Man Utd and watch most Utd games, with all due respect to Fletcher and Carrick I would already say he’s alot better than both of them and would be a fantastic addition to Man Utd, the fans would love him. Obviously the Celtic fans dont want to lose him but I believe he’s keen to play in England.

The figure being mentioned has been either £12 or £25 million but I believe it will take around £16 million to get him. If he did go to Man Utd im positive after a couple of years Utd fans will be looking back thinking £16 million was a total steal.

United need either this player Wanyama or Fellaini. I am writing this after the Villa game. Fergie keeps playing Scholes who leaves the midfield wide open and slows the game down that much the opposition have plenty of time for the Villa defence to reform and get into position.
We have all the players that can pass the ball in midfield but nobody with steel. Either of these players will win United trophies this season because they will add the power United had when Roy Keane played and have not had it since.

Look like a good player. Reminds me of Micheal Essien. But I wonder if he can handle the pressure of being in a big club like Man Utd.
