Dimitar Berbatov has become the first foreign player in Premier League history to grab five goals in one game during Manchester United’s 7-1 humbling of Blackburn Rovers at Old Trafford. He has joined England internationals Andy Cole, Alan Shearer and Jermain Defoe to achieve that feat. It makes you wonder how some United fans can really believe that Ferguson should get rid of the Bulgarian maestro! Fortunately, Sir Alex has far more sense than that. The old saying we all learned as children that “It takes one to know one” may not always be correct in the harsh reality of life but there must be times when there has to be some truth in it. Former Manchester United prolific striker Andy Cole is second only to Alan Shearer on the list of all time highest Premier League goal scorers so when he says that there’s not a striker available who would be worth spending a fortune on, he should at least be listened to.

It has been over seven years since David May last set foot on the hallowed turf of Old Trafford but his face will remain enshrined within hearts of Manchester United fans forever for his part in the success of the club during the 90′s. Even those who hold United in contempt will remember the image of May perilously perched on a chair peering over the shoulders of Nicky Butt as he celebrated their Champions League victory and the sealing of an historic treble in 1999.

Gary Neville, Man United Captain, has criticized the appointment of former England international team mate’ Alan Shearer as a manager. He believes any former player should get qualify before managing in the premier league or anywhere else.
The Premier League rule stated any boss is supposed to hold the UEFA Pro Licence and Shearer has become Newcastle manager without it. Read the full story

After Wayne Rooney great form yesterday in Slovenia game, former England and Newcastle United legend Alan Shearer believes the Manchester United striker is the man who can lead England to win the World Cup for the second time since 1966.
Shearer, All-time top scorer in the Premier League, has praised England coach Fabio Capello for trusting Rooney’ abilities and giving him a free role inside the pitch. Shearer believes Rooney character will be a strong factor to win next year World Cup in South Africa. Read the full story
