Manchester United’s Champions League quarter final at Bayern Munich gave the BBC an opportunity to have a close look at two very different financial models of how clubs should operate in order to obtain long term viability. Many calls have been made for United to emulate the way that clubs like Barcelona and Real Madrid are run but Germany’s Bundesliga provides another alternative which should at least be given close consideration.

Many reports suggest Manchester United will offer Arjen Robben a come back to England before the end of the transfer windows. In my opinion, Robben will only be a waste of time and money for Man United players and fans.

Thank god the reports stated hours ago that Bayern Munich set to sign the Dutchman from Real Madrid! The player is not in his best after picking a huge number of injuries during the last term.
