Manchester United v Fulham – The Beginning of Something New

Unfortunately, not everything went to plan yesterday. Once again, Manchester United managed to concede some sloppy goals. When Fulham got their second goal, it seemed to take the life out of us as we seemed to limp across the finish line. The good

thing is there were more positives than negatives. Our attack looks quite promising with the acquisition of Kagawa and Van Persie and with a better backline, we’ll look even stronger. There’s were some players who I think deserve some notable mentions from yesterday’s performance. Read the full story

Goodison Park Match Analysis – What’s the Fulham Plan Fergie?

By: Eddie

Although this was our first match of the season, it was an interesting match to analyze. There were some themes which exemplified some United fans’ concerns which were also present last season. From a tactical standpoint, there

wasn’t anything too outstanding except when United didn’t have the ball. A majority of post-match reactions hinted at our need for a defensive midfielder. One Down, Eight To Go

One game less, eight games to go, three points clear on top of the English Premier League, on a run of 9 wins in the last 10 league matches; a good run of form. This is made more impressive by the fact that during this run, Manchester United have faced their toughest challengers and closest rivals in terms of history or league position; Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspurs. If the Red Devils maintain this form for the remainder of the season which includes a very short trip to the Etihad Stadium to face Manchester City, we would be celebrating another title triumph come 13th of May 2012 away in the Stadium of Light against Sunderland. Added to the form of the team would be the fact that United’s players have the experience of seeing out a title run-in and emerging victorious. Everything seems to be going well and according to plan. Nothing to worry about? You would be wrong to think as such. Read the full story

Five stars victory at Craven Cottage

Manchester United fans had a great night at Craven Cottage as they saw Sir Alex’s players defeating Fulham with five goals and keep up the pressure on Premier League leaders ManCity. United flew at the hosts and were soon ahead when Danny Welbeck converted Nani’s cross. Nani headed home from Ryan Giggss cross before the two reversed roles for the third. Then it was Rooney’s rocket from 30 yards before substitute Dimitar Berbatov’s scored the fifth with a classic backed heal. Read the full story
