Sir Alex Ferguson proved why he is the best manager ever in the Premier League and earth after beating Arsenal 2-1 in their home at Emirates Stadium. United knew they needed a win to keep chasing leaders Man City and they looked on course for victory when Antonio Valencia nodded home Ryan Giggs’ cross. Arsenal leveled in the second half through Robin van Persie, but their hopes of a point were blown nine minutes from the end when Danny Welbeck steered Valencia’s cross home from close range. Manchester United defeated Sunderland by one goal to nail at the Stadium of Light and keep hope alive to win the premier league for the fourth year in a row. Nani was the man to rescue United again and scored from close range with the outside of his boot to prevent Chelsea becoming champions with a week to spare.

All Manchester United fans (including myself) were too disappointment after a nightmare week. It was not easy to see the team losing against Chelsea and being knocked out from the Champions League by Bayern Munich. Add to that yesterday draw at Ewood Park which handed Chelsea the advantage in the race for the Premier League. Read the full story
