Nani flashed a huge grin, his eyes twinkling, as the video rolled and images of him performing one of those celebratory somersaults that Sir Alex Ferguson probably wishes he would refrain from were projected before a select gathering at a sponsorship launch this week. The United winger’s expression quickly changed though when he spotted Wayne Rooney sitting across from him. Nani encountered the same emotionless looks on the faces of Darren Fletcher, Park Ji Sung and Ryan Giggs when footage of their exploits was screened.

Yesterday massive victory against Arsenal saw Manchester United reducing the points different with Chelsea to one point. Chelsea have one game in hand, but they are playing Arsenal next week and If Arsene Wenger‘ side can bounce back, we will be top of the table.
Sir Alex Ferguson got the upper hand over Wenger for the second time in the premier league this season, First time was at Old Trafford earlier this season when United broke Arsenal unbeaten run, thanks to his tactics and Rooney-Nani super show which saw United outclassing Arsenal in their own grand. After losing against Liverpool at Anfeild, there were areas which Fergie must concern about. We don’t have to hit back into refs every time we lose, even it was clear that we deserved a penalty and Jamie Carragher should have been dismissed for tackling Michael Owen.
In my view, Sir Alex Ferguson should review the back four. Rio Ferdinand is still struggling to reach the form he reached last season, while John O’Shea isn’t the classy right back that United fans are looking for. We had trouble time in goal keeping because of Ben Foster error, so Van der Sar comeback was on time and he did well against Liverpool to keep the score sheet minimum. Read the full story

Valencia C.F David Silva has been linked with Scouser this summer, but the press suggests that the 23 years old Spanish international winger would prefer Manchester United to Liverpool.
Sir Alex Ferguson has been tracking David Silva, who also can play as attacking midfielder, and is reported to have sent scouts to watch the Euro 2008 winner this season. Read the full story

Rooney scored twice as the champions destroyed Wigan
Champions Manchester United bounced back from that surprise to Burnley with a 5-0 hammering of Wigan at the DW Stadium. Wayne Rooney scored a brace in the rout and Michael Owen scored the first goal of his United career.
