There was a rep
ort in a business journal a few years ago in which the writer gave an opinion that whenever News Corp boss Rupert Murdoch dies, the news may not be released for as long as possible for fear that the corporation’s share price will plummet. That story came to mind when it was revealed that Wayne Rooney made his U turn after he had a phone conversation with Joel Glazer rather than with the 82 year old patriarch Malcolm. Truly Reds does not normally do book reviews. Although many Manchester United ones go on the market each year, their reviews are normally left to specialist websites. There is the occasional one however which is worthy of bringing to the attention of our readers. GLORY, Glory! Man United in the 1990s – The Players’ Stories, by Andy Mitten is such a book. This short preview is sure to be of interest to all fans.
