Two goals were enough as Man United defeated West Ham

It seem Sir Alex Ferguson is going to lose his bet again with Cristiano Ronaldo After the Portuguese winger scored two goals for United to give the Red Devils a relaxed victory against West Ham United at Old Trafford.

FIFPro World Player of the Year Ronaldo took his mark for the campaign to five, first profiting from Nani’s strict cross before beating Robart Green from two yards, an effort that owed everything to the genius of Dimitar Berbatov.

Tevez was given a chance to prove his worth verses his former club and he could score from two chances If West Ham’s goalkeeper was not fast.

The second half wasn’t fast as the first, but it saw Carrick made his comeback. The England international looked fit and ready for next month important games in the Champions League and against Arsenal in the premier league.
