Former Chelsea and Inter Milan manager Jose Mourinho has not even got himself familiar with the plush surroundings of Real Madrid’s Estadio Santiago Bernabéu Stadium after signing a four year contract last week yet media speculation has already begun predicting that it will only be a matter of time before the two time European Champions League winner ends up following Sir Alex Ferguson at Old Trafford when he decides to call it a day.

Many issues are still to be decided this season. The Premiership is a tight three horse race which can go to any of them, the only relegation certainty is poor Portsmouth with nobody knowing who else will survive while Newcastle is the only Championship club assured of a Premier League comeback. The European Champions League has not yet reached the semi final stage with all eight remaining clubs still in with a chance but despite all that uncertainty, the ridiculous silly season has already started!

Sir Alex Ferguson isn’t concern after Michael Owen was replaced by Berbatov after just 20 minutes when he felt the injury once more.

Manchester United came from one goal behind to defeat German Champions and get another three points in their Uefa Champions League Group B account. Edin Dzeko scored first, but few minutes later Ryan Giggs scored from a free kick before Michael Carrick scored the winning goal from a decent shot to move United three points clear at top.
