Anderson will miss the start of the Premier League season. The youngster midfielder was named to Dunga Brazil’s 18-man squad for the Beijing Olympic Games. This means that the player is going to miss part of Manchester United pre-season training and will be absent for the start of the new season. Brazil are in group C with Belgium, China and New Zealand and kick off their campaign on the 8th August against Belgium. The Olympic golden medal is the only missing award that Brazil has never won. Ronaldinho is included in the team, along with the new City signing Jo, midfielder Lucas Leiva from Liverpool and Real Madrid’s Robinho.
