
The highly anticipated draw in Switzerland this morning for the last 16 of the Champions League didn’t go to plan. An series of errors were made during the process, in which UEFA then decided to cancel it and declare it void.
Manchester United were handed a tough test in which they would have faced PSG, however they now face Atletico Madrid, a team the Red Devils will be more confident of winning.

Both games against Atletico Madrid will be difficult but many will agree that they will be more confident than against Paris Saint-Germain with the likes of Lionel Messi, Mbappe and Neymar in attack.
UEFA released the following statement: “Following a technical problem with the software of an external service provider that instructs the officials as to which teams are eligible to play each other, a material error occurred in the draw for the UEFA Champions League Round of 16.”
The round of 16 will be played over two legs, with seeded teams at home in the second legs.
The first legs are scheduled for 15/16/22/23 February, with the second legs on 8/9/15/16 March.
