After Long waiting for the return of our club king, Eric Cantona, The Daily Express editor’s John Richardsonis believes that Manchester United are seriously looking to offer Cantona the chance to return to Old Trafford as a coach. While manager Sir Alex Ferguson in danger of losing his influential No2, Carlos Queiroz who is wanted by Portugal to succeed Luiz Felipe Scolari, the Frenchman’s emotional return would be at the right time.
Ever since Cantona shocked the football world by announcing his sudden retirement, he was only 30 years old, Fergie has kept in touch with him. Sir Alex has always tried to persuade him into returning to Old Trafford.
Now a close friend of Cantona has revealed to Sunday Express Sport: “Eric does fancy the idea of helping out with the coaching at a club like Manchester United. He has been enjoying himself appearing in and directing films and being involved in beach soccer but has always wanted to help produce a team in his style and knows that Sir Alex Ferguson would encourage him.”.
As a truly fans, we are really looking to Le King’s return. The young players are going to benefit from his experience and the first team players too.
