Manchester United face Fulham this Sunday in a fixture which should see United remain top of the league. After the West London side travelled out to Turin mid-week, there’s a possibility the Fulham side may be slightly jaded, in comparison to United who played in Manchester.
Statistically Fulham have a very strong defence, however their away record hasn’t been the best with just nine points from fourteen games – a poor run United will look to extend. With the foundations of the ever so solid defensive trio back in Edwin Van der Sar, Vidic and Ferdinand at the business stage of the season, everything looks very rosy for United. Considering Wayne Rooney’s and Berbatov’s form of recent weeks too, predicting a comfortable win for United would be the logical choice.
