Frustration with owners who are destroying your club is natural, peaceful protests are understandable and email campaigns are an acceptable part of those protests BUT when football fans turn to inciting TERRORISM against those owners, a line in common decency, if not the law, has undoubtedly been crossed. That is precisely what a Liverpool FC fan by the name of Duncan Oldham who is editor of the influential Koptalk website has done. Have a look at what this guy who can only be described as a hooligan had to say about the club’s beleaguered American owners George Gillett and Tom Hicks.
“Disruption, especially to financial institutions, is what they are scared of. And on a personal level, there’s nobody in the world who’s arse wouldn’t collapse if someone peered over their bed in the middle of the night armed with a Texas Rangers baseball bat or two. I won’t sign petitions, I won’t send emails to journalists who don’t care, but I will get stuck in via other methods best not written about. I don’t care if I get into trouble with my words…I mean it. I mean every single word.”
Hard to believe? Do you think that this whole thing is an exaggeration? Have a look and decide for yourself HERE. Football authorities have worked very hard for a very long time to eradicate this type of violent hooliganism from the game yet here we have what can only be described as the Liverpool equivalent of Osama bin Laden urging people to turn to terrorism to get their own way!
Should legal action be taken against this Liverpool terrorist?
