The Manchester derby this weekend will see the introduction of a new Manchester United Anthem ‘United Road’ and you can be amongst the first to listen to it on Truly Reds. The song was written by Will Robinson and Daniel Ryan, the same song writers who produced the re worked 2009 version of ‘Glory Glory Man United’ which featured Korean violinist Jenny Bae. The vocals on ‘United Road’ are performed by Richie, who previously sang ‘Manchester United Number One’. Robinson and Ryan, who also wrote ‘Chico Is The Man’ – the Javier Hernandez song – are currently recording an album all about Manchester United which will be released later this year. “I am totally inspired to write lyrics about United – they have achieved so much and are a great club,” said Robinson.

I’m the first to admit that my taste in music is not the greatest and have to say that I’m not overly impressed with this new song – yet.
