Rooney will join Carling Cup hero’ Ben Foster, Rio Ferdinand and Michael Carrick in England squad who face Slovakia in a friendly on Saturday and Ukraine in a World Cup qualifier on Wednesday 1st April.
Former Man United number two’ Carlos Queiroz has called Cristiano Ronaldo and Nani for Saturday World Cup qualifier between Portugal and Sweden.
Evra and Vidic will play for France and Serbia against Lithuania and Romania respectively.
Moving to South America, Diego Maradona has called Carlos Tevez to Argentina squad for their clashes with Venezuela and Bolivia, while Anderson will be with Brazil for their matches against Ecuador and Peru.
Ireland Strength their squad with John O’shea and Darron Gibson to face Bulgaria and Italy. Northern Ireland have Jonny Evans in their squad for two games in Belfast, against Poland and Slovakia, while Darren Fletcher‘s Scotland – second in Group Nine – face very important matches against leaders Holland and third-placed Iceland.
