Anderson has not played since injuring his ankle during Derby County game in the semi final of the Carling Cup, but could take some part against Tottenham on Sunday.
After outstanding performances against Arsenal and Liverpool in the first part of the season, Sir Alex Ferguson suggested Anderson can be the natural successor to Bryan Robson and Roy Keane as the heartbeat of United’s midfield.
But the former Porto man has failed to reproduce that form this season.
And Sir Alex seems has not lost faith in his Brazilian promising player as he will give him the chance to play in Wembly and send out a reminder of his potential.
Meanwhile, Sir Alex said that he won’t change his young squad in the Carling Cup final which gives Wayne Rooney no clue if he will be in London on Sunday to play in the game.
