Current Inter Manager’ Jose Mourinho thinks Manchester United can write a new chapter of football history next Wednesday by becoming the first English club to beat Porto at Estadio do Dragao in Portugal.
The special one who was in charge of Porto when they knocked out Man United years ago believes Sir Alex Ferguson and his squad can beat the odds and record a victory. He also warns Porto from Wayne Rooney threat and called him big game man!
Mourinho said: “Sir Alex Ferguson is an expert at it, and they have the quality to go and win anywhere in the world.
“Wayne Rooney is the boy Porto need to contain. He plays with no fear, and anybody who plays with no fear will never be concerned with how important the occasion is.
“Rooney is a big-game player. The crowd at Porto won’t make it easy for United, but the mentality of Rooney is to just play football and not be worried about anything else.”
It is not a surprise to hear that from Mourinho as he is a good friend of SAF, however, I believe Jose are trying to add more of these press conferences in his CV to convince Man United board to hire him as Sir Alex Ferguson successor!
