I don’t know what Fernando Torres wanted when he said that Manchester United can’t be compared to Barcelona this season. I think the Spanish striker is going mad after his poor team lost the chance to win any trophy this season.
So he started to convert his madness on Manchester United. First, I would suggest Torres to shut up and concentrate on his game with his Club. On paper, we can say Barcelona are better than Man United this season, If we check the premier league and La Liga table, Barcelona lost only twice while we lost four time this season. They scored 88 goals while we scored 54 so far.
But Mr. Torres forgot that we are playing in the English Premier League not the Spanish Primera Liga and there are huge different when talking about the other clubs level in both leagues. Man United also played extra games this season in the FIFA world club cup and Uefa Super Cup, but in Spain clubs are playing less game than clubs in England.
I totally disagree with Torres. Last season we knocked out Barcelona from the Champions League semi final when all speculations expected Barca to win. So the only way we can compare between the two clubs is the UEFA Champions League final. (If both clubs pass the semi!)
