Cristiano Ronaldo has came out today saying he would never do ‘a Carlos Tevez‘ and join Manchester City. The superstar who left United for a ‘dream’ move to Real Madrid also commented that the Premier League no longer interests him.
When asked if he would ever consider a move to City he told Sky Sports News “Never,”
“City try to build a nice team, they buy a few good players but this is not my problem.
“It is a problem for Manchester (United), Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal. My league is different now.
“I must concentrate on my team to concentrate on pre-season, to fight with Barcelona, Valencia these teams. I don’t care what Manchester City do.”
It sounds a bit ironic to me that the Portuguese winger is saying this after moving clubs. He might not have moved to City but he still showed a lack of loyalty to United. I have to admit I will really miss the World Player of the Year and he’s a real loss to our squad overall, but what I won’t miss about the winger is his tantrums and the constant speculation that he doesn’t want to play for United anymore.
