Manchester United are playing Wolfsburg tomorrow at the Old Trafford in their second game of the Uefa Champions League.
Sir Alex Ferguson believes it will be an open game between the English and German champions. Fergie thinks Wolfsburg are the main threat in the group as they won last game against CSKA Moscow
“We won our first game away from home [at Besiktas], which was a real bonus to us. So I think they are our main dangers to qualifying.
“When you look at the history of German football, it’s unusual for a team of Wolfsburg’s background to win the Bundesliga. The number of goals they score is quite amazing. Their two strikers scored 71 goals between them last season, which is an incredible total.
“They do score goals but they also lose them. In their game on Saturday [against Hannover], I think it was 4-2, so they do have very interesting matches. We’re looking forward to the game.”
Meanwhile, PARK Ji-sung won’t be able to play tomorrow. The South Korean international has contracted a virus and missed training, so Sir Alex Ferguson had little choice but to rule him out.
Patrice Evra has recovered from a similar problem, while Michael Owen should be available despite also missing training with a minor groin strain.
