Manchester United take on Wolverhampton Wanderers this Sunday at Molineux Stadium with the full expectations of supporters of the Red Devils gaining all three points.
The Wolves manager, Mick McCarthy earlier this season at Old Trafford selected a ‘weaker’ starting eleven, for which Wolves were given a £25,000 suspended fine, so one wouldn’t expect Wolves to replicate their decision, as they look to give United a much harder game at their own patch.
Man United’s form in recent weeks has been excellent, with 13 points in the last six matches taking Ferguson’s team top of the form table. Wolves, however are 16th in the form table taking just five points from their last six games.
United must keep putting the pressure on Chelsea to get the results, and a win this weekend for United would send them top of the league ahead of Chelsea, who play an FA Cup quarter final match instead.
