Reports in Brazil and Europe suggest that Manchester United are monitoring Ganso’s progress at Santos, as Sir Alex Ferguson is looking to expand his youth squad with a promising star. But United face two major problems in their hunt of the 21-year-old midfielder.
The first problem the player unrealistic £40million buyout clause in his contract and Santos will only consider offers worth more than half of that number! Sir Alex also has to persuade Ganso that his future lies in England, rather than Italy, Spain or France.
If Ganso “Paulo Henrique Lima” moves to United, he will join current Brazilians trio at Old Trafford – Anderson and the Da Silva brothers, but they are less well-known in the national squad than Alexandre Pato, Thiago Silva and Robinho at San Siro where AC Milan have made their wish clear to sign one of the rising stars of Brazilian football and are ready to open the bidding-war with a £21million offer in January according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
Paris Saint-Germain are also considering making a move for Ganso. But the UEFA Champions League factor will be important as long as money won’t be the first priority for the Brazilian youngster!
Should United sign Ganso in January?
