Manchester United defeated Otelul Galati – but it was a far from routine Champions League night in Bucharest for Sir Alex Ferguson team. After a boring first half, Wayne Rooney put United ahead from the penalty spot after on 64 minutes after Otelul captain Sergiu Costin had handled the ball. Nemanja Vidic was sent off shortly after for a tackle on Gabriel Giurgiu before Milan Perendija was sent off for the home side late on after receiving his 2nd yellow card. Rooney added the second with another penalty in stoppage time after he had been fouled by Liviu Antal.

It was a nail biting win Big Boss, I personally never felt easy until the second goal.I guess job done and we move on, as most lads say and I can understand this! Although( hay I avoided ‘but’ lol) I just feel our midfield is just so short in comparison to our main rivals, like Chelsea and City. Its so apparent and I hate the C..t Nigel De Jong as an example, we dont have that type of not hacker, thats crude, but stopper at all costs like DeJong
We in truth either dont have a player while the fabulous young Tom Cleverly is sidelined that provides the fast attacking counter play that is the hallmark of Manchester United. We saw this Boss during the early part of the season , its dried up.Why.
Anyway we move on and hope that we keep in touch through the magic of the other boss,Sir Alex and silence our noisey neighbours on Sunday.
Ps I hope our other third boss, Frank is well and all is tickey boo in his life, I have not seen him on Truly Reds, which is a wee worry for me.
Keep it United and my sign off Believe.
It is a pleasure to see you again here Red Scot, we get the three points in Romania…thats what we were looking for! I agree with you about the midfield … we are missing someone like Keano..aren’t we?!
I hope we will entertain and win on Sunday 🙂
Our First Boss Frank will be back soon 😉 he has some issue in his life and will be back full of energy again.. I will send him your greeting!
Thank you again Red Scot!
