We all can agree that the time manager Ole Gunnar has had at the club has been somewhat of a rollercoaster. From the highs of winning 13 games in a row and to beating PSG away against all odds to losing many games on paper we should have won.
It is now more important than ever for the former player to get some solid wins and move up the table to be in a position to challenge for the top 4. At the moment the team is playing better than weeks before but even so we should be winning more games.
The next game is away to Sheffield United in the Premier League and one that will be a difficult fixture. The Yorkshire team have a passionate crowd and will welcome Manchester United for the first time in many seasons. With this they will want to prove a point and win the game, just as they did against Arsenal only 2 weeks ago. If we can win away here this will be a big step in the right direction and a big 3 points.
Paul Pogba announced this week that his cast on his ankle has been removed and he can start training. Many fans still question the World Cup winners drive and passion for the club with some suggesting he coasts through the game. On his day he is one of the best players in the world, however that is not very often. Reports on when his exact return estimate should be announced this week. Whilst we can all agree that Scott McTominay has been playing well, there is no doubt that Paul Pogba is an amazing talent.
The biggest impact player this year is Anthony Martial, not only have we started to look more dangerous in attack, he has helped Marcus Rashford overcome his poor performances. Hopefully this can continue and we can take it to the next level.
Every Manchester United is analysed more than most and with Rio Ferdinand, Micheal Owen, Gary Neville, Roy Keane, Paul Scholes and Jose Mourinho all working for television outlets this means that the pressure can be bigger than most.
There are many suggestions of which players we will target in the next window; from Declan Rice to Gareth Bale and many others we will not know until January. What do you think, who can or who shall we try to buy. Will we win against Sheffield United at the weekend?
