Manchester United manger Sir Alex Ferguson is to face another headache after the new striker Manucho picked an injury during an international duty. According to the Mirror, the Angola international reported for pre-season training with a suspected broken metatarsal. He was on the brink of kicking off his career at Old Trafford, however he been sent on loan to Panathinaikos due to the failure of his work permit application.
Manucho, 25, was scheduled to play in United’s tour of South Africa and try his luck to break into the first team for next season. He will go for X-rays to assess the damage and may be out for weeks. Now Sir Alex should splash the cash and look into the transfer market to sign another striker.
