Many reports suggest that Nemanja Vidic is on his way out of Manchester United as Barcelona and Juventus are ready to splash cash on the Serbian international defender.
Corriere dello Sport believes Manchester United scouts in Brazil, including former defender Jaap Stam, have been tracking the progress of Brazilian international defender Joao Miranda who is believed to be the best choice to replace Nemanja Vidic.
Man United will face competition from Bayern Munich and SS Lazio to win the service of the €10 million Miranda.
Joao Miranda is only 24 years old. He is playing with Brazilian side São Paulo since 2006 and could only score 4 goals.
In my opinion, Sir Alex Ferguson will do a big mistake if he allows Vidic to leave. Man United are already having injured defenders including Ferdinand and Vidic himself. It looks silly to sell one of the best defender in the world who can score more than five goals per season for a player who played only 20 frustrated games in Europe with French side Sochaux.
Will Vidic move away from Old Trafford?
