United will be without centre-back Rio Ferdinand, who has been ruled out for up to a month with a thigh strain. United will however have Serbian defender Nemanja Vidic back at the heart of the defence, hes missed the two previous games with a calf injury.
Wigan have a slight doubt over winger Charles N’Zogbia, the Frenchman is struggling with an ankle injury. He played in the midweek defeat by Wolves but aggravated the injury and hes currently 50/50 to play.
