The season has officially ended and Manchester United fans, like ourselves are still disappointed in the overall campaign. Whilst there were some great highlights, most notably the win in Paris against PSG the season ended with many United fans wanting Manchester City to win the league.
We hope that this was a one off and that next season we can be a dominant force as we have been for the past several decades. OGS has a difficult task this summer of getting rid of several big signings and attracting some players which will be a great fit.
There is no need to keep mentioning the same names over and over but players that were purchased with extremely high wages and enormous transfer fees need to be sold or put up a good case as why they should be around for the start of the next season.
Watching Manchester City, Liverpool FC, Tottenham, Arsenal and Chelsea reach European Finals is a stark reminder of how far we have fallen behind the leading teams. However as a Manchester United fan, there is hope. We enjoyed the team go on a 12 game winning streak and one that we know can be repeated.
Many pundits feel like we are missing many key players that stand up against the big teams. Too many times this season we were defeated in a manner that is not the Manchester United way.
The never-die attitude is still there and we will be keeping you updated every day on potential signings and transfers out of the club. The 2019/2020 season could be one of the most important in many years, finish like we did this season and the tables will have well and truly turned. Gary Neville and other ex-players believe the rebuilding process could take many years, we are still hopeful that we can challenge.
