Before four rounds from the end of the English Premier League, Manchester United, the leader with 74 points, are facing another tough test when Harry Redknapp‘ Tottenham Hotspur visit Old Trafford tomorrow at 17:30 BST.
Man United will be looking for another victory to get closer to the premiership title, while Spurs will do their best to end their season in a good position to secure a place in next UEFA Europa League.
The squad is in good mood after beating Portsmouth last Wednesday. But Gary Neville is going to miss the game due to injury. So Rafael is going to start as a right back. Rio Ferdinand will be back after Sir Alex Ferguson rested him for one game. John O’Shea is fit after injuring his ankle in midweek and could be part of the squad that also includes Wes Brown.
Ferguson v Redknapp
This is another game between the oldest and most successful manager in English football, Sir Alex, and the skill and guile of Harry Redknapp. The two managers are respecting each other more than anyone think. Harry Redknapp faced Sir Alex three times as a spurs’ manager, one in the premier league (0 x 0), second game was the 2-1 defeat in Fa Cup and the last game was the Carling Cup final when United won by penalties shoot-out.
No matter how Liverpool and Chelsea do in their remaining games, United will need four victories and one draw from coming games to keep the premier league trophy at Old Trafford.
Will United win against Spurs?
