Owen's 200th career goal saves United at Bolton


While Manchester United can rightly feel that points were frittered away in earlier visits to Goodison Park and Craven Cottage, the one picked up from Michael Owen’s equalizer within a minute of coming off the bench at the Reebok Stadium was undoubtedly a point salvaged. To claim otherwise would only be an insult to a resilient Bolton Wanderers side who must have thought that a famous victory was within its grasp. Despite enjoying a 66% share of possession, United were unable to create anything resembling clear cut opportunities as Bolton closed down and unsettled their opponents for the whole ninety minutes leaving the likes of Wayne Rooney and Dimitar Berbatov totally frustrated.

Bolton 0 – 4 Man United Highlights


Manchester United are back on top of the Premier League after smashing sorry Bolton with four goals at Reebok Stadium. A wonderful display from Luis Nani proved that Sir Alex was right to renew his contract. Dimitar Berbatov scored two goals after Bolton’s Jlloyd Samuel scored an own goal before half time. Bolton v Man United preview


Manchester United are travelling to the Reebok stadium in hope to add another three points to their Premier League’ account and extend their lead. Bolton won’t be easy in their ground as Owen Coyle’s side is looking to secure their Premier League stay for another season.

Although reports suggesting Wayne Rooney had picked up a knee injury, the top goal scorer is fit and ready to take part in tomorrow game. Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes may start tomorrow. While Dimitar Berbatov will look to play tomorrow as he was kept on the bench last game. Read the full story
