Fans reaction to Sunderland draw is not justified


So the Sunderland post mortem continues. Did United take a valuable point from a tough opponent? Did two anticipated points go begging from the fourth successive Premier League away draw? The debate continues and even those involved cannot agree. Goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar laments the lost points saying “We can be happy that we had a clean sheet, the second in a row after Valencia on Wednesday but I think it was two dropped points because we dropped too many already in away games.”

Hargo on the way back to face Wolves – maybe


Can it possibly be true? Granted, it’s only been reported in the dubious News of The World but Owen Hargreaves is finally going to make a comeback for Manchester United. The former England international is pencilled in to turn out against the Wolves in the Carling Cup in less than a month but it still remains difficult to believe after so many false hopes were raised in the past. An EXCLUSIVE byAidan Magee on Sunday revealed the unexpected news but BEWARE, nothing was quoted by anyone and for all we know it may be no more than a personal opinion of his.

United home to Wolves in Carling Cup 4th Round


Manchester United has avoided fellow favourites Arsenal in the fourth round of the Carling Cup by being handed a home meeting with Wolverhampton Wanderers. The tie is one of three all Premiership clashes with Arsenal travelling to Newcastle and West Ham at home to Stoke City.

The ties will be played on Tuesday 26 and Wednesday 27 October
