Manchester United are going to face newly promoted West Bromwich albion tomorrow at Old Trafford. While United will be missing Micheal Carrick and Owen Hargreaves again, WBA manager’s Tony Mowbray will be hoping for another point from a premier league giant after held Arsenal with a 1-1 draw.
The Baggies have already run Arsenal close away from home this term and will be looking to stop United top form.
Sir Alex Ferguson hopes that Wayne Rooney continues scoring goals with United as he did with England during the last two games of World Cup 2010 qualifications. It is likely to see Berbatov partnering Rooney in the front while Carlos Tevez to watch the game from the bench.
Manchester United had a good record when playing against WBA. The only time United have dropped Premier League points against West Brom was this corresponding fixture on 7 May 2005 when Robert Earnshaw’s second-half penalty cancelled out Ryan Giggs opener and went some way to denying United from finishing the season in runners-up spot.
Starting XI:
Van der Sar, Brown, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra, Ronaldo, Fletcher, O’Shea, Giggs, Rooney, Berbatov.
Will United continue their top form?
