Manchester United Closing in on Two Targets

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed to the media that the team are currently in the process of closing in on two new transfers. This is great news for Manchester United fans as we desperately need a change of personnel in the squad.

  •  Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Daniel James have already been purchased.
  • New players needed especially in midfield where Ander Herrera has moved to PSG
  • Heavily linked with Harry Maguire, Longstaff and Bruno Fernandes.
  • David De Gea Expected to sign £300,000 a week deal by the end of July.

We at TrulyReds.com believe Maguire to be on the verge of signing for Manchester City with Bruno being our main aim. His performances in the Portuguese League last season were extraordinary and a player that would fit in the team.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer stated in the press conference before the team head of on pre-season the following:

He said: “Those five or six months before the end of last season was great knowledge for me. I found out what we can do when we are at our best.

“The two top teams last season were so consistent. We have to get up there. Pre-season is about laying foundations.

“We can’t wait to get started on this journey to become the real Man Utd we know we can be.”

This is a statement of intent from the manager and one in which fans will be pleased to hear. The difficulty we have is that with no Champions League football, the elite footballers will need more convincing than if we had it. If the club can secure some of the players we have been linked with then potentially we can have a much better team going into the Premier League season, starting less than 6 weeks from now. Tickets for the home games have been released on Manchester United website.

Whilst Paul Pogba can be the best player in the world, he can also have a negative impact on the team. Whilst many fans want him to stay, there has also been a growing number of people that want him sold. The biggest rumour so far is that Real Madrid are willing to swap Gareth Bale and £70million to buy the World Cup winner, Pogba. If so this would be a great deal, what do you think?

  1. Forget Bale he is past it, injury prone and overrated. Get Dybala, Fernandes and Maguire (80 million max).

  2. Thumbs up to Ole and the board, and pls get read of Paul Pogba be the league starts.

  3. I’ll be glad if fernandez join man utd before the end of the transfer window because he’s the kind of player we need in that midfield with pogba.

  4. Pogba should be sold as he has made it clear that he wants to move on but no need to accept players past their prime .Premier League clubs should not be treated as dumping ground for spent Laliga players
