Manchester United are yet to see their best form and tomorrow game against Bolton could see United either recording a first home win or defeat. Manchester United have beaten Middlesbrough in the Carling Cup on Tuesday night and Sir Alex Ferguson’s players would repeat the result in the Premier League.
United are chasing a sixth successive home win over the Trotters. Gary Megson’s side has not defeated United since 0-1 win at Old Trafford on 11 September 2002 when Kevin Nolan got the winner.
Although United played the second team in the Carling Cup, United is likely to start Bolton game with best eleven available. Berbatov will be back upfront with Fergie to decide who will partner (Rooney or Tevez) the Bulgarian Striker. Nemanja Vidic returns from suspension meaning the Serbian will retain his place alongside Rio Ferdinand, as the unfortunate Jonny Evans misses out despite shining in his absence against Villarreal and Chelsea.
Ronaldo may makes his league start as his fitness improving, while Ferguson will have a headache as usual to choose starting midfielders from Paul Scholes, Darren Fletcher, Anderson and Owen Hargreaves.
Will United record their first home win?
