Manchester United have recorded another win in their Asian tour against Korean side FC Seoul. United were down by two goals to one before half time but two goals from Kiko Macheda and Dimitar Berbatov gave United the victory.
The Korean club was in good form. In the 9th minute, Ko Myong-Jin tasted Kuszczak with a long range shot. The first goal came after 23 minutes when Damjanovic got in between O’Shea and Brown to dig past Kuszczak from Kim Seung-Yong’s well-delivered cross.
Wayne Rooney pulled Man United level after 30 minutes, the English international finding the back of the net with a well-directed header after receiving an accurate cross from John O’shea.
Damjanovic scored another goal for FC Seoul, a clipped finish over Kuszczak after the off-side flag had stayed down despite more than a hint of off-side.
In the second half Federico Macheda got the reds back on track soon enough, the young Italian handling onto a long Rooney through pass before rounding the keeper and firing into the empty net on 58 minutes.
Minutes later, Berbatov got his name on the scoring sheet, the Bulgarian planting an accurate header past Kim after good work on the right-hand side by fellow substitute Darron Gibson.
Sir Alex Ferguson was happy to see his players doing well in the game despite receiving two goals. The reds ended their tour now and will get ready to face Boca Junior with a possibility to see new boys Antonio Valencia and Gabriel Obertan.
