So much transfer gossip, so many rumors, who’s coming in, who’s going where, it can all get too much. We then had the daily speculation as to who will make the “23” and who will be left behind until England manager Fabio Capello mercifully put everyone out of their collective misery by finally announcing his squad. South Korea captain Ji Sung Park admits that qualifying for the semi finals of  the 2002 World Cup was a little miracle but that it’s possible for it to happen again in South Africa. “Obviously 2002 was a great achievment for us, it was a miracle but there’s nothing to say that it cannot  happen again” the 29 year old Manchester United midfield dynamo warned. But then Park quickly added that the odds of a repeat performance are very slim  “Actually our goal is to get through to the second round and we don’t even think about going any further”

Mexico striker Javier Hernandez is a relieved young man today after an FA panel granted Manchester United an application for a work visa, thus giving the green light to start a career at Old Trafford and ending fears that the £7million transfer deal having be scrapped. The 21 year old Hernandez sealed a move to England last month but did not meet the criteria for a permit as he has not played in 75 per cent of Mexico’s games over the past two years.
